2 months

I now have a handsome two month old. He is full of laughs and giggles and I love him more and more each day. He is currently 11 pounds 5 ounces and is 24 inches long. Yes, he is already two feet long. Who he gets his height from I have no clue. His father and I are average height. He currently eats 4 oz of Gentalese formula 6 times a  day. He wakes up 2 to 3 times a night. He wears a size 1 diaper and is in 0-3 month clothing.

Important happenings...
This month he got his first set of shots and ran a low-grade fever for 2 days.

Im Back again with BIG new!!!

I know every time I return to blog I say I am going to do better and I never do. Also every time I return I have very big news. The news this time is I had a baby....a beautiful baby boy who is 2 months old today.

Being a new parent has really changed my life. I love this child more than anything and would do anything for this child. When I was pregnant I ballooned up gaining 50 pound which I regret now because I am having the hardest time getting the weight off. But I had an awesome pregnancy, no sickness just sciatic pain and a few back aches. My son entered the world healthy on April 18th weighing 7 pounds 6 ounces 21 inches long. And yes I had an epidural. One of the best decisions of my life. He came out looking just like his daddy but has his mother's attitude.So for the last couple of months I have been enjoying baby giggles, smiles even poopy diaper. I have been the most emotional I have ever been in 

my life. I blame the hormones. But overall I am loving my new life and I plan on cherishing every moment from here on out.

Lost in time..

I haven't had time to post lately because I have been busy getting married, starting up a new career and taking care of my wonderful husband. I hope to get back on track really soon! Here are a few picture to get you all caught up. I hope you enjoy!

Yesterday, I went to my school(UNCG) to pick up my certificate so that I could preceed to get CNA certified. As I arrived I saw my adviser in the window so I knew someone was in there but when I went to the door, no one answered. I was upset because I came from my home which is 25 minutes away. I then went around and found a secretary and she goes on to tell me she didnt know anything about the certificates and sent me to the fourth floor (did I mention students can't use the elevator) so this further infuriated me. I went up... no certificates there. So, I decided to knock on my advisers door again still no answer.I left. ANGRY mind you!!!! I then emailed my teacher as well as another teacher and explained the situation. They copied it to my advisers email and this is what I got...

The door was locked for a reason, I couldn't be disturbed as I left graduation to come work on something (without any interruption) so that I could return to graduation.  A good practice is generally to call before you come.  I realize that you knocked but I could not be disturbed in what I was doing.  I am extremely available to students but not 24/7.   The office door clearly states that we are not available around the clock.

With that said, if you come by and the door to the suite is locked, you can see Jennie Prince or Dana Donaldson.  They can let you in.

I will be at university graduation all morning tomorrow and a conference on Monday/Tuesday next week.  Other wise, please come by.

Steve...That's understandable but I didn't come to discuss any matters with you I just wanted my certificate. I was told that it would be outside your door and that wouldn't have required me to disturb you. But thanks for the explanation. I saw the business manager on the first floor(I can't recall her name) and she referred me to files on the 4th floor so I did try other resources. Once again its understandable. Ill pick mine up on Thursday, but I don't need your assistance.Thanks

So with that said he is mailing me my certificate! Ha!
I didnt want to have to go over his head.


Now I feel much better!

New Job

I know its random...But I am so excited about it...I just got a job at Pier 1 Imports. If you have been in this store you are missing out on a lot. I am totally in love with there products and cant wait to use my employee discount. And this is the optimal time to be an employee because I am moving into a new place and this store is sure to provide me with some wonderful inspiration. I absolutely love DESIGN!!!!
